The National Weather Service has issued a WIND ADVISORY for West Michigan, effective from 10 am today (Friday) through 2 am tomorrow. 17 killed in weekend tornadoes

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - 17 people are dead after a massive tornado tore through the suburbs of Little Rock, Arkansas.

President Obama addressed the devastation Monday morning, saying FEMA and the federal government are helping state and local officials move forward.

One of those tornadoes that touched down was reported to be more than a half mile wide.

Officials say there were also smaller tornadoes reported in Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri.

Omar Villafranca was in the hard hit town of Vilonia, Arkansas with the latest on the search and rescue effort in the video report above.
