Energy plant told to stop burning abortion waste

MARION COUNTY, Oregon (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Commissioners in Marion County, Oregon held an emergency meeting after they learned their energy plant was burning abortion waste and other fetal tissue.

Commissioners approved an order Thursday night to stop the plant from receiving medical waste.

It was being shipped from Canada.

Many say they were horrified because they had no idea this was happening.

Oregon state law does approve the burning of all human tissue, but the country commissioners still oppose the idea and are working to get to the bottom of who knew what and when.
