Security officers work to move civilians from eastern Ukraine

UKRAINE (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Ukraine's new president, Petro Poroshenko, has ordered security officials to create a corridor so civilians can safely leave the east side of the country.

That side of the country has been rocked for two-months by pro-Russian insurgency.

Most of the 10,000 people displaced have not previously received aid or transport from the Kiev government.
