Mt. Zion Baptist to help those displaced by fire
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - In addidtion to taking three lives, the fire at Interfaith Homes also forced four families from their homes.
Mount Zion Baptist Church in Kalamazoo is collecting items for them.
The church is collecting toiletries, clothing, bed and bath linens, small kitchen appliances, and furniture.
All of the items will be delivered to families on Saturday.
Mount Zion is also accepting monetary donations to help cover funeral expenses for the Woods family.
Checks can be made out to Mount Zion, care of the Woods family.
