MDOT plans open house on Battle Creek roadwork
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (AP) - The Michigan Department of Transportation plans to hold an open house on upcoming road construction in Calhoun County.
The event is scheduled for Thursday at Battle Creek City Hall.
MDOT will be repairing Interstate-194 bridges over the Kalamazoo River and a few other roadways in the area.
Work is scheduled for April through November
The state transportation department says one lane of traffic will be open in each direction throughout construction. It will announce the dates of the closures in advance.
