Convicted murderer to spend life in prison
WALKER, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A convicted murderer is headed to prison for the rest of his life.
Investigators say Karl Cotton Jr. shot and killed Jamie Powell in her Walker Apartment in March of 2011.
They believe Powell was an innocent bystander in a drug deal gone bad.
Cotton will not be eligible for parole.
