BMW recalls cars
(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - BMW is recalling more than a half-million cars due to possible power failure and engine stalling.
Apparently, a battery cable that supplies power to the vehicle's fuse box can wear out.
The recall affects BMW's 1-Series, 3-Series and Z4 models, some made as early as 2007 and as late as last year.
BMW has known about the problem since July 2010 and was working with dealers before launching the recall.
