Funeral Thursday for soldier from Plainwell
OTSEGO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Thursday a fallen hero will be laid to rest.
Flags will fly at half-staff across the state in honor of Sgt. Mark Schoonhoven from Plainwell.
He died last month after being injured in an IED attack in Afghanistan.
As family and friends say goodbye to Sgt. Schoonhoven, you also have a chance to thank him for making the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
