RUSSIA (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The number of people were injured Friday morning after a meteor exploded over Russia has grown.
Witnesses described the event as like an earthquake and bomb going off at the same time.
A thick white contrail, an intense flash and sharp explosions could be heard and seen for miles in Russia's rural region.
At first we were told 400 people had been injured, but that number has now grown to nearly one thousand people.
