Police find gun, drugs during raid in Kalamazoo
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – Police in Kalamazoo say they have seized drugs and a gun after a raid on Lawrence Street.
It happened Wednesday at a home in the 500 block of Lawrence Street. Officers with KVET got a warrant after citizens reported drug trafficking at the house.
Police say they found a large amount of marijuana, some suspected crack cocaine, an electronic scale, packaging equipment and a handgun in the home.
A 21-year-old Kalamazoo man was arrested and faces charges of possession with intent to deliver marijuana and felony firearm. He is currently in the Kalamazoo County Jail.
