Allegan Co. deputies nab 3 in 5 hours for impaired driving on Wed.

ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Allegan County Deputies were kept pretty busy Wednesday night, as during a five-hour period, they pulled over three people for operating under the influence of drugs or driving drunk.

The first happened around 6:30 p.m., when a deputy stopped a vehicle at Beeline Road and 62nd Street in Laketown Township.

Inside, they found items used to manufacture meth, and the suspect was arrested.

A few hours later, a deputy pulled over a car for driving erratically on 16th Street, near 135th Avenue in Hopkins Township.

The driver admitted to injecting illegal pain medication.

An hour later, in Fillmore Township, a deputy came upon a car heading the wrong direction on East 64th Street, near M-40.

The driver was arrested for drunk driving.
