LOS ANGELES (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Three Los Angeles police officers have been shot, one fatally, and the accused shooter is a former cop.
A statewide manhunt is now underway for Christopher Dorner.
Police believe he's behind Thursday morning's shootings in Riverside as well as the killing of two people over the weekend.
Dorner is a former LAPD officer.
The officers shot Thursday were actually guarding other police officers who were supposedly targeted in a manifesto written by Dorner.
A badge and identification belonging to Dorner were found Thursday in San Diego near the airport.
