Stryker receives tax break from City of Portage

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Stryker Corporation is getting a tax break from the City of Portage, which is expected to help the company develop new jobs.

According to MLive, Stryker has received a tax break for a $5.6 million expansion for the research and development plant on Milham Avenue.

It will reportedly help create 18 new jobs.

Portage Council Members say they are excited about the expansion, saying it's a wonderful way to help celebrate the city's 50th anniversary this year.
