170 companies expected at Bronco Job Fair

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A record number of companies are expected at an annual career fair at Western Michigan University on Thursday.

More than 170 organizations will be participating.

They will be looking for interns, as well as placing potential employees for full and part-time jobs.

Some companies plan to hold first round interviews on Friday.

The fair is in its 35th year, and draws nearly 3,000 job seekers each time.

Opportunities include engineering, health care, insurance, transportation, and construction.

The fair is open to the public, but tailored to Bronco students and alumni.

Make sure to dress professionally and bring your student ID.

The fair runs from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Bernhard Center ballrooms.
