Mother accused of killing her baby girl learns her fate
BRANCH COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – A mother accused of killing her baby girl has learned her fate.
On Monday Maria Flores-Valle was sentenced to spend three to 15 years in prison.
The woman’s five-month-old daughter, Diane Perez, died just over a year ago after paramedics found her unresponsive at Brookfield Apartments in Bronson.
The infant had several broken bones.
Flores-Valle took a plea deal, pleading no contest to involuntary manslaughter in exchange for the other charges being dropped.
