Grandville man pleads guilty in child porn case

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A Grandville man could be headed to prison for as long as 20 years after he pleaded guilty to dealing child pornography.

41-year-old William Russell Odett entered the plea Monday in federal court.

Federal agents first started investigating Odett in May of last year. They say that in May an undercover agent was able to download child pornography that Odett made available over the internet.

Then they went to his house and say they found a large number of computers with a  substantial collection of child porn images.

In addition to the time in prison, Odett will have to register as a sex offender.
