Seven Branch Co. sex offenders arrested for failure to verify
COLDWATER, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Michigan State Police announced on Tuesday that seven Branch County sex offenders had been arrested for failure to verify.
According to a report, troopers arrested the registered sex offenders who did not verify their addresses during the last quarterly verification period.
As part of the registration act, offenders are required to verify their addresses, and failure to do so can result in up to 2 years in prison, a fine of up to $2,000 or both.

The men were arraigned in District Court in Coldwater and will face future hearing and sentencing on the charges.
