FAST FEEDBACK: Bear petting legislation

LANSING, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - We've got an update Friday afternoon on a controversial piece of legislation that would allow people in Michigan to pet and take photos with bear cubs.

It was a story we first brought you last month. Now we are hearing the house has approved the legislation.

It was introduced specifically to allow bear handling at Oswald's Bear Ranch, in the upper peninsula, but would allow handling across Michigan.

The bill will now return to the Senate for final approval.

Governor Snyder is expected to sign it.

We got an overwhelming response the first time we reported about the legislation. Now that it's been approved in the House, we want to hear from you again.

How do you feel about this legislation?
