Man arrested while attempting to enter home
HASTINGS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A man attempting to get into a house ended up in jail after police found he had a warrant out for his arrest.
It happened last Monday in the 700 block of West Green Street.
Hastings police officers were called after someone saw the man trying to enter the home through a window.
The man, identified as 28-year-old Kalvin Mays, told police a relative had given him permission.
But police found out that not only did he not have permission, he also had a warrant for his arrest for maintaining a meth lab.
Police say they also found he had pipes on him during his arrest.
