Plans in place to dredge W. Mich. harbors

WEST MICHIGAN (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Formal plans have now been made to dredge several Lake Michigan harbors.

Projects in Grand Haven and Muskegon will begin next month.

Holland, meanwhile, is set to be dredged in early May.

The Corps of Engineers contracted with King Company of Holland to do the work.

Dredging the harbors will cost around $1 million.
