Laughfest kicks off in style in GR
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Laughfest is officially underway in Grand Rapids.
The event kicked off Thursday.
200 ticketed and free events will take place over the next 10 days, featuring everything from big name comedians to family-friendly shows.
Thursday night at 6:00, participants at Rosa Parks Circle donned official Laughfest mustaches, in an effort to break a world record.
According to a release from Laughfest organizers, the event estimated 1,544 mustachioed enthusiasts, which if confirmed, would shatter the old mark of 648.
Laughfest runs through March 17th.
