3 Arrested in heroin bust in Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Three Men are behind bars Friday morning after a heroin bust in Kalamazoo.

KVET officers raided a home on Burdick Street Thursday. Inside officers found heroin, packaging equipment and marijuana.

It all began when officers received a tip from concerned citizens that trafficking was going on at the home.

After obtaining a search warrant, officers conducted surveillance on two suspects and say they witnessed the men make a delivery.

When they returned to the home, the two men were arrested.

A third suspect inside the house attempted to flee by climbing out a window to the roof. The subject retreated back into the home where he was also arrested.

Two 19-year-old's were arrested for conspiracy and delivery of heroin.
The third suspect is a 32-year-old man who was on parole, and wanted on a parole violation warrant as well as two additional warrants.

All three have been lodges at the Kalamazoo County Jail.
