Police bust Sturgis meth lab
STURGIS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Four men are in jail in Sturgis after police busted a meth lab in an apartment on Cato Lane.
It happened early Friday evening.
Police responded around 5:00 p.m. to an apartment on a report of a strange odor coming from one of the units.
The investigation revealed a meth production setup, and a search warrant was quickly obtained and executed.
During the search, police found six one-pot meth labs, a small amount of marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, methamphetamine, scales, drug paraphernalia, and other equipment used in the manufacture of meth.
Four white males, aged 17, 22, 23, and 27, were arrested on charges of manufacture of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and other possession charges related to other narcotics found in the apartment.
