Attempted abduction in Paw Paw

PAW PAW, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – Police in Paw Paw are trying to track down two suspects in an attempted abduction.

It happened Saturday behind the Sportsman's Bar around 11:30 p.m.

Investigators say that a woman was taking a smoke break behind the bar when two men in a dark blue older model vehicle approached her and asked her if she needed a ride home.

The woman said no and the men left for a short time, but returned minutes later. The men again asked if she wanted a ride but one of them opened the door and attempted to pull her into the vehicle.

The woman kicked the door, striking the man. The men then drove away.

The driver of the car is described as a white male, mid to late 40's with sandy blonde shoulder length hair, long sideburns with large round eyeglasses.

The passenger is a white male in his mid 40's with shoulder length sandy blonde hair.
