Asteroid to pass near Earth Saturday
(NEWSCHANNEL 3) – The Earth will get another fly-by Saturday.
An asteroid is expected to pass within 600,000 miles of the Earth.
That's pretty close in space terms, but not nearly as close as another asteroid that flew by last month.
Astronomers say it will probably be too far away and too faint for most stargazers to see it in the sky Saturday.
