Lawrence Twp. man faces animal fighting charges
PAW PAW, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A Van Buren County man has been arraigned on charges of animal fighting.
One week ago, deputies raided the property of Bobby Johnson in Lawrence Township, and seized 18 dead roosters and stolen goods.
Johnson is accused of using the roosters for cockfighting.
He is faced with 3 charges of animal fighting, as well as 3 charges of receiving and concealing stolen property.
