Virtual job fair Wednesday
(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Wednesday the State of Michigan will bring job seekers and employers together in the state's eighth Virtual Career Fair since February 2012.
This fair allows jobs seekers the opportunity to search for and apply for dozens of positions without the inconvenience of traditional job fairs.
We spoke to one of the people behind the job fair on the benefits it has.
"The Virtual Career Fair is a live 3D platform that allows job seekers from anywhere in the world to connect to growing Michigan employers that are hiring right now from their home or office computers so they don't have to leave the house," said the representative.
That job fair runs Wednesday from 10:00 in the morning until 4:00 in the afternoon.
Some of the employers taking part are Blue Cross, Blue Shield of Michigan, Charter Communications, Pure Michigan Talent Connect and Dart Container.
