Fennville woman convicted of felony racketeering
(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - She's being called a "one-woman crime wave" and now she's facing 20-years behind bars for operating a phony foreclosure rescue operation called Mobile Modification, Inc.
38-year-old Tonya Raisbeck of Fennville was convicted Tuesday for felony racketeering.
Attorney General Bill Schuette says Raisbeck scammed at least 85 West Michigan homeowners out of thousands of dollars between March 2009 and July of 2010.
Some even lost their homes.
Raisbeck is expected back in court for sentencing next month.
