Mich. Attorney General to annouce progress in Baby Kate case
LUDINGTON, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Michigan Attorney General is ready to announce major developments in the Baby Kate investigation.
It's been more than two years since little Katherine Phillips vanished in Ludington.
Her body has never been found, but police believe she was killed and that her father, Sean Phillips is responsible.
Last year, a jury convicted him of unlawful imprisonment.
In April, detectives announced that scientists had found rare plant samples on Phillips' shoes that could help solve the case.
Attorney General Bill Schuete has planned a news conference just before noon Friday to announce movement in the case.
