Charge dismissed against principal accused of drunk driving
MARSHALL, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) A West Michigan elementary school principal accused of drunk driving has had the charge against her dismissed after a plea deal.
Back in July 40-year-old Andrea Nessel was arrested after she was pulled over by Michigan State Police. She was charged with operating while intoxicated.
On Tuesday Nessels defense attorney tells Newschannel 3 that she accepted responsibility for her careless driving and the OWI charge was dismissed.
Nessel is the principal of Hughes Elementary in Marshall.
