(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - No surprise here, Santa is very popular.

The folks at NORAD say their Santa-tracking program logged 19.58 million unique visitors to its website on Christmas Eve.

Volunteers took more than 117,000 calls from kids checking on the jolly old elf's whereabouts.

Those numbers are up from last year by about 3,000.

Santa was also big on Twitter with more than 146,000 following his progress.
