DENSE FOG ADVISORY

Effective Until 11 AM

The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids issues a DENSE FOG ADVISORY until 11 AM for nearly every county in West Michigan save for Berrien, Cass, St. Joe, and Branch counties.  Recent, heavy rainfall, and light winds are the perfect combination for fog production.  Visibilities may be as low as 1/4 mile or lower; that's enough to drastically change how you drive.  Please keep it safe this morning and travel slower, if you have to.  Additional stopping distance isn't a bad idea either.  Stay with wwmt.com for the latest weather updates!

Man hospitalized after crash in Baldwin Twp.

OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A man is in the hospital tonight after crashing into a house in Ottawa County.

It happened around 1:00 p.m. at the intersection of Baldwin and 28th Avenue in Baldwin Township.

Deputies say 26-year-old Ryan King failed to stop at a red light and broadsided another car heading eastbound.

King drove off the road and into the house.

He was taken to Spectrum Hospital.

The other driver, 35-year-old Stefani Harris, was treated on-scene.

Deputies are still investigating, and believe a medical condition may have been a factor.
