WIND ADVISORY

10 AM Until 2 AM Saturday

The National Weather Service maintains a WIND ADVISORY for nearly all of West Michigan from 10 AM this morning until 2 AM Saturday morning.  45 mph gusts are likely inland while 50 mph gusts are possible at the Lake Shore.  This kind of wind is capable of bringing down tree branches and creating some power outages.  Obviously, we hope that doesn't happen.  Winds blow from the northwest this morning then from the north by midday and beyond.  Stay with wwmt.com for your weather today and always!

SPCA of SW Mich., Maple Hill Subaru hold 'Share the Love' event

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The SPCA of Southwest Michigan, along with Maple Hill Subaru, are hoping you'll Share the Love this weekend.

A very special adoption event is being held.

For every new Subaru sold or leased Friday and Saturday, the dealership will donate $250 to a charity, including the SCPA, through January 2nd.

But Friday night, however, it's all about the animals.

The SPCA is offering reduced adoption fees during the event as well.

It runs until 7:00 p.m. Friday at the shelter on West KL Avenue, and again from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday.
