DENSE FOG ADVISORY

Until 10 AM

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana issues a DENSE FOG ADVISORY for St. Joe and Branch counties until 10 AM.  Dense fog has already been observed in many cities in West Michigan including Kalamazoo.  The ADVISORY may be expanded to include more counties.  Burning off fog this time of year is tough thanks to a low sun angle.  Fog may linger in some locations until midday.

Deputies hope new images can drum up clues in Kent Co. death

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Deputies are releasing new images of a man found dead along a Kent County road, in hopes that they can drum up new tips to solve his murder.

Steven Day's body was found December 18, near the intersection of 16 Mile Road and Myers Lake Avenue in Nelson Township.

Friday, police released surveillance pictures from the last time Day was seen alive.

Deputies say Day's backpack and some of his clothes are missing.

They're asking anyone who finds them or may know where they are to call the Kent County Sheriff's Office.
