Portage looks to fill vacancy on school board

PORTAGE, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Portage School District is looking to fill a recent vacancy on their school board.

Back on December 7th Secretary Tom Eddy passed away unexpectedly. He was 66-years-old.

In his absence the school is looking for someone to fill in until next year's November elections.

Anyone interested must submit a completed application to the administration building on Mustang Drive no later than noon on Monday.

To be eligible you must be a registered voter in the school district, at least 18-years-old, a citizen of the U.S. and citizen of Michigan for at least 30 days and a resident of the school district.
