Michigan Blood looking for donations this season

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - This time of year, Michigan Blood says they always see a decline in blood donations.

A winter campaign starting Monday is working to change that this year, however.

To fulfill the need during this holiday season, there are two blood drives going on this week.

The Be A Star Michigan blood drive is at the Kalamazoo Area Donor Center in Portage on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., and next week on the 31st from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Donors get a free movie pass and popcorn.
