The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids maintains a LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY for Ottawa, Allegan, Van Buren, Kalamazoo, Berrien, Cass, and St. Joe counties until 9 PM.  An additional 1" to 4" of snow are possible on northwest winds of 15 to 20 mph; icy roads are verified by several road reports.  Please be careful traveling as lows dip into the teens tonight; wind chills will be in the single digits.

Jack-knifed semis blocking traffic on I-196

OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A number of jack-knifed semi-trucks are backing up traffic on I-196 Monday afternoon.

The crashes happened before 1:00 near mile marker 62. The westbound lanes of traffic are blocked.

There is no word on how long it will take to get traffic moving again.
