Suspects break into store, several vehicles overnight

TEKONSHA, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Police are asking for help after suspects break into a store and several vehicles overnight.

The Calhoun County Sheriff's Department says they happened on the 200 block of Main Street between midnight and 8 a.m. Sunday.

Deputies say the suspects tried to break into a business and were unsuccessful. They then broke into another business, an auto parts store.

Police say the suspects set off fire extinguishers, damaged electronic equipment and tipped over store displays, causing extensive damage. They say the same suspects also broke into several vehicles in the area.

The Calhoun County Sheriff K-9 unit was called in, but was not able to find the suspects.
