Snow emergency still in effect for some

WEST MICHIGAN (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - There is a reminder Tuesday morning that a "snow emergency" remains in effect for Battle Creek and Marshall.

That means no parking in the streets to make way for plows.

Police have marked cars that are still parked on the streets and say they will be towing them, at the owner's expense.

M-DOT is out in full force clearing the roads as fast as they can.

M-DOT Spokesperson Nick Schirripa says 90 plows hit the roads across Michigan on Monday and all drivers are working 12-hour shifts.
