Ikea recalling childrens bed due to laceration hazard

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Ikea is recalling a popular children's bed because a metal rod could break.

It's called the Sniglar Junior Bed.

One child was scratched on the arm by a rod that broke.

If you have one of these beds, you are asked to check the back of the headboard or underneath it for the date stamp Sniglar 1114 to 1318 or 1049 to 1113.

Ikea is urging its customers to stop using the bed immediately.

Call Ikea and they'll send a replacement rod with tools and instructions to fix it.
