DENSE FOG ADVISORY

Until 10 AM

The National Weather Service issues a DENSE FOG ADVISORY for all of West Michigan until 10 AM.  Fog may linger in some locations until midday.  Light winds, ample moisture near the ground are encouraging the formation of dense fog.  Because temperatures are near freezing, a light coating of ice may form on some road surfaces making them slick.  Please keep it safe this morning as you head back to work and school.

Allegan Co. deputies respond to over 100 traffic accidents during deep freeze

ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Sheriff's deputies have been busy the past few days responding to weather-related accidents across the area.

The Allegan County Sheriff's Office says it has responded to more than 100 traffic accidents over the past two days.

There were 27 crashes involving injuries or damage to property.

Deputies also responded to 14 vehicles in the ditch, and there were more than 20 vehicles that were left abandoned on the side of the road.
