Study: Kids not meeting physical recommendations

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - It looks like teens aren't pushing their physical limits.

The CDC reports only one in four kids ages 12 to 15 actually meet the recommendations of 60-minutes or more of moderate to vigorous activity every day.

And while obesity levels dropped slightly, they are still at an all-time high with 12 and a half million children considered obese.

Information for the study came from in-home interviews, physical exams and surveys.
