Woman in critical condition after Calhoun Co. crash

CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - One woman is in critical condition and two others are seriously hurt after a crash on icy roads in Calhoun County.

The Calhoun County Sheriff's Department told Newschannel 3 Wednesday that an Albion woman lost control this morning on Michigan Avenue in Sheridan Township, slid across the center line, and slammed into a Marshall woman's car.

A passenger in that car became trapped.

Rescuers had to cut her out of the vehicle and airlift her to a local hospital, where she's listed in critical condition.

The two drivers are currently in stable condition.
