Snowy Sunday in West Mich.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Newschannel 3's Aaron Dimick is on the roads this morning, taking a look what it's like out there in the winter wonderland.

He drove all over Kalamazoo and Portage, taking a look at the snow situation. Roads, of course, were very snow covered.

The main roads faired a little better, with lots of plow and salt trucks out. Overnight, they had trouble making a dent in the heavy snow.

There are really difficult driving conditions on side roads. Smaller cars having trouble making it through heaps of the white stuff.

There's lots of ice and snow building up on trees, so we're keeping an eye on power outages. Also, it's a busy night for plow trucks as they've been struggling to keep parking lots and side streets clear.

It's very slippery on all of the roads, so drivers really need to drive slow and keep a good distance between cars.

Thankfully, there are not a lot of drivers out this morning, so maybe people have been listening to the warnings.
