WIND ADVISORY

10 AM Until 2 AM Saturday

The National Weather Service maintains a WIND ADVISORY for nearly all of West Michigan from 10 AM this morning until 2 AM Saturday morning.  45 mph gusts are likely inland while 50 mph gusts are possible at the Lake Shore.  This kind of wind is capable of bringing down tree branches and creating some power outages.  Obviously, we hope that doesn't happen.  Winds blow from the northwest this morning then from the north by midday and beyond.  Stay with wwmt.com for your weather today and always!

US-131 back open in Kent Co.

UPDATED 11:08 a.m.: US-131 is back open in Kent County.

Kent County Dispatch says the road at Ann St. has been reopened after a van rollover with multiple injuries.

M-DOT says the road was reopened near Post Drive at 10:48 a.m.

KENT COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) US-131 is closed in two locations Sunday morning, Kent County Dispatch says.

Dispatch says police closed southbound US-131 at Ann St. in Walker at 9 a.m. for a one-vehicle injury crash.

M-DOT says at 10 a.m., northbound US-131 was closed at Post Drive.
