Animal abuse investigation uncovers possible meth lab

COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Deputies in Kalamazoo County say they uncovered a meth lab at a Comstock home Thursday morning.

Sheriff's deputies and the Kalamazoo Co. Animal Control were at a home in the 8000 block of E. Michigan Ave. investigating a case of alleged animal abuse. During their investigation they discovered a dismantled meth lab and remnants indicating recent meth production.

Officers say that a Kalamazoo man has been identified as a suspect. They say charges will be submitted once the investigation is complete.
