LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY

The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids maintains a LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY for Ottawa, Allegan, Van Buren, Kalamazoo, Berrien, Cass, and St. Joe counties until 9 PM.  An additional 1" to 4" of snow are possible on northwest winds of 15 to 20 mph; icy roads are verified by several road reports.  Please be careful traveling as lows dip into the teens tonight; wind chills will be in the single digits.

MAC Tournament resumes Friday night

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Mid-American Conference men's basketball tournament will resume Friday night.

Count on Newschannel 3 for full coverage, as Western Michigan tries to make the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 10 years.

Newschannel 3's Andy Pepper will be live from Cleveland Friday night for the MAC semifinals.

There's a Western Michigan University Broncos pep rally at the Hairy Buffalo Friday at  4:00.

The Broncos take on the Akron Zips at 6:30.

A win tonight, then one more win after that would get WMU into the tournament.
