(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a home in Comstock for possible drugs.The Sheriff's Department raided the home on 33rd Street in Comstock, looking for a meth operation around 8:00 p.m., Friday.The raid comes after a traffic stop involving two people who had suspected meth on them.The vehicle they were in was seen driving away from the Comstock Township home on March 12th. Charges for those two suspects will be sought after the investigation is completed.The search warrant led deputies to find an active "one-pot" meth lab in the kitchen and several firearms in the living room. No one was found inside the house at the time of the search. A series of tips led detectives and the SWAT team to the house on 33rd Street.It's the latest raid on several houses related to meth-making in the township.Sheriff Fuller says they've arrested 8 people on meth-related charges in the last few weeks in the area, and that doesn't count the 6-to-8 others arrested in Kalamazoo last week in connection to a meth lab operation.Sheriff Fuller says more raids are coming.They are actively searching for meth labs, and neighbors are helping them in the fight.
