Autism walk raises awareness, funds at Celery Flats

PORTAGE, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) Hundreds of walkers took to Celery Flats in Portage Saturday, for the 11th annual Walk About Talk About Autism.

The walk raises awareness and funds for the Kalamazoo-Battle Creek Autism Society. Organizers say all the money raised stays in the area, funding support groups, education and recreation events for people and families affecting by autism.

Last year, the event brought 585 walkers to Celery Flats.
