DENSE FOG ADVISORY

Until 11 AM

The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids issues a DENSE FOG ADVISORY until 11 AM for nearly every county in West Michigan save for our Indiana bordering counties of Berrien, Cass, St. Joe, and Branch.  It doesn't mean it won't be foggy there!  The combination of yesterday evening's rainfall, light winds while you were sleeping, and our unusually cool airmass is a near perfect recipe for visibilities under a mile and perhaps as low as 1/4 mile.  This is enough to change how you drive.  Please keep it safe this morning, and slow it down if you can.  Stay with wwmt.com for your weather!

Scammers scrambling to take advantage of Malaysian Airlines tragedy

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Scammers are already scrambling to take advantage of a tragedy half a world away.

Right now, the world is eager to learn new information about missing Malaysian Airlines Flight 370, and scammers are posting fake links on social media sites that catch people's attention.

The Better Business Bureau warns if you click on the bogus news links, you're really downloading malware or opening yourself up to identity theft.

The BBB says the posts often read, "Video of Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 found in Bermuda Triangle, passengers alive," or it may read, "Missing plane has been found!"

Do not click these fake links.
